When I’m not chasing around my three crazy boys you will most often find me working on a lettering design with my Apple Pencil in hand (and a Coke Zero in the other).

Based in Columbus, Ohio, I am a modern calligrapher and I help engaged couples and local businesses stand out through custom, hand lettered signage that tells their unique stories. If you’re looking for a calligrapher who is efficient and attentive to details, look no further! I love a good challenge - I’m always open to trying something new and figuring out the best way to do it.
Creating a one of a kind piece of art for your event or small business is my highest priority, and I look forward to serving your needs with my lettering and design expertise.
My WHY
I have been obsessed with weddings for as long as I can remember. I’ve been a bridesmaid no less than six times and did as much DIY on my wedding as humanly possible (thank you, Pinterest!). I am always happy to put all of that party planning expertise to good use by throwing bridal and baby showers for my family and friends.
I started lettering in 2018 when my son was a few months old and I was looking for a quiet, naptime activity. I quickly became fascinated with the art of lettering and how it paired perfectly with my love of all things weddings and party planning.
Since then, I have studied how to improve my craft through online classes and hundreds of hours of lettering and design practice. I love the challenge of creating a hand lettered sign that is beautiful and functional - a work of art with an attractive design that also tells a story. By incorporating my lettering into many bridal and baby shower projects, I have developed a firm understanding of how to implement hand lettered signage at your celebration in a way that is both practical and gorgeous.
My lettering has allowed me to channel my creative passions with the added (but welcome) challenge of running a small business. I am extremely thankful to have discovered a business opportunity that allows me to serve clients with my art while also serving my family as a stay at home mom. Just for Fun
I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with Coke Zero and find myself in the Chik-fil-A drive through at least once a week to get my fountain drink fix.
True crime is my podcast genre of choice, and I have listened to every episode of Crime Junkie while working on lettering projects.
I am a worship leader and keyboard player at my church, Hilliard Christian Assembly. Singing was my first love and is still my favorite way to worship God.
Pride & Prejudice (the 2005 version) is one of my favorite movies and is the inspiration for my business name (Pemberley is the name of Mr. Darcy’s estate).
After college, I worked as a Human Factors Engineer at Honda R&D. It was an amazing experience and I will talk to anyone who will listen about how much you like your cupholders.
